Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Digital Works Business LLC, a Florida limited liability company operating as num-iD ("num-iD", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, discloses and safeguards information when you visit our website, contact us, or use our APIs and related services.
Our principal place of business is 407 Lincoln Road, Suite 12 N, 33139 Miami Beach, FL — USA. You can reach us at any time at hello@num-id.com.
1. Introduction
num-iD provides telecom numerical intelligence services — including number portability, HLR live-network checks and related routing data — to enterprise customers. This policy applies to information we collect through our marketing website, our customer support channels, and the operation of our APIs. It does not cover third-party websites we may link to.
By using our website or services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We try to keep the personal data we handle to the minimum needed to run our service. The categories of information we collect are:
a. Information you provide to us
When you contact us, request a demo, sign up for a test endpoint, or correspond with our team, we collect the details you choose to share — typically your name, business email address, the source IP address you want whitelisted, your company name and technical contact information.
b. Information collected automatically
When you use our APIs or visit our website, our infrastructure logs technical data such as source IP addresses of API consumers, request timestamps, response codes, throughput and timing metrics, and general traffic patterns. These records are used for diagnostics, abuse prevention, and capacity planning.
c. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website may use a small number of strictly necessary cookies. For details, please see our Cookie Policy.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- operate, maintain and improve our services — including resolving API queries, monitoring performance and detecting abuse or misuse;
- communicate with you about your account, contracts, support requests and service updates;
- send you commercial communications you have asked to receive (you can opt out at any time);
- comply with applicable legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers under a data processing agreement. We use trusted vendors to help us operate — for example, Google Workspace for email and document collaboration, and infrastructure providers that host our services. These providers are contractually bound to process data only as instructed by us.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. As a baseline:
- API query logs are retained for 30 days for diagnostics and abuse prevention, then deleted or aggregated.
- Customer contact data is retained for the duration of the commercial relationship and for up to 12 months thereafter, unless a longer retention period is required by law (for example, for tax or accounting purposes).
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights with respect to your personal information.
California (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect about them, to request deletion, to request correction, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, so the opt-out right does not apply in practice.
Other U.S. states
Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws (for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and others) may have similar rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of their personal information.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom
If you are located in the EEA or the UK, you have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@num-id.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
7. Children
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These include access controls, encryption in transit, network segmentation and continuous monitoring. However, no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or stored by us.
9. International Transfers
We are based in the United States. Information we collect may be processed in the U.S. and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required by law, we put in place appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect international data transfers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our services, or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
